The varied shades of life...That lie twixt black and white The many paths we take...Between birth and death Wednesday, February 25, 2004 IT WORKS!!! :D:D:D:
aaah...the blog works..nothin much to say today..strike in the university today by the lecturers who want better pay..aparently there has been no pay rise above inflation in about 20 years...and also a(nother) protest by the students who want free education ie. no fees....can sort of see the point though i dont particulalrly see the point of them going on protest together which is waht they are doing..after all, if students dont pay fees where is the money going to come from to pay lecturers!!!!! ah this mad world....just wish the lecturersd had told us he wasnt turnin up...no notice nothin...cud have had 2 more hrs of sleep...and when u go to bed at 530 am the 2 hours is worth a lot :D the easter holidays start in about 3 weeks time...lookin forward to a break...been building the nokia snake game as a project for my PIC module..is interesting but harldy the easiest thing to do once u realise that the chip we have to use has about 60 bytes of memory...that is sooooooo pathetic...even my grandad's 20 year old digital organiser has 64kb of memory..thats a thousand times more...aaaaaghhhh...y do all lecturers love being so impractical and annoying..dont bother answering that...my main project is comin along a bit better now....i have just realised that i said about 20 lines ago that i had nothin much to say..typical really..one starts waffling and before u know it there is a blog the size of a Ph.D thesis..ah well...i better go now i guess seeing as the lecturer has arrived into the lab...time to get to work....aaah..btw before i forget..for all u geeks out there, an interesting peice of kit..a usb memory stick that is axully a watch..pretty neat..is a 64/128/256 mb usb memory stick with the memory axully under the casing of a watch..the watch itself is not half bad and comes with a 3 yr warranty and is waterproof as well..handy for people like me who never carry floppy disks or cd-rw. if interested, check it out on ebay..u will probably have to look it up on the uk website ie. www.ebay.co.uk...search for 'usb watch' in there..till next time..adios
