A Toast...
There are moments in life that hit you and make you stand still and contemplate..today was one of them...
Got a text off Devarshi sayin he had been awarded the Student of the Year for the 2001-04 batch...it ended sayin" I have finally proved Hemant Shah wrong"....made me think...wot a brilliant achievement...and after people saying he would never do it...teachers, colleagues, class mates..and to prove them all wrong..how proud he must have felt..and how deservedly so...Congratulations....gives me heart and lifts me up..it has been a tough few weeks for me and others...just reading that text has given me will, hope and joy...a proof that hard work pays off in the end.. To say it was a surprise would be wrong..i have always beleived he has the ability in him as have others..and now he has put his heart and mind to it and achieved what he is capable of...i know he has always believed in his abilities..now my friend, u have tasted success...u are standing on top of the world..enjoy the moment..and notice also, the other peaks that surround you..u have scaled one..the others are sure to follow...
