Very Very Special.....
The man is back..V V S Laxman..WOT A MATCH..god..got off to an excellent start and then looked like we would'nt even get to 270-280 due to batsmen getting out when set..and then balaji and pathan with some fireworks..and i've heard of throwing your bat around but i mean, hey, breaking it in two??? incredible...
and wot a start to the bowling..young pathan on fire...and then THE CATCH..wow..that was some catch..literally, the match was in the balance as sachin just hung there and managed to keep his..and then the usual story..letting the tail get the better of us..moin is as good as any on his day and a top class fighter but we let it run waayyy too close..a few too many heart in mouth moments...that will not do my fragile heart any good..me thinks i have shaved a few years off me life..he he.. and can u believe it..i axully didnt speak when we won...not many times that happens as i am sure enuf ppl will vouch ..lol!!! not for lack of words though but rather a lack of vocal ability..throat hoarse with yellin..will prob go bald coz of all the hair i pulled out..and cannnot help but wonder wot the atmosphere in the stadium wud have been like..we were about 20 of us and making more noise than a pub full of footie fans who can be pretty damn vocal..imagine a few tens of thousands of us...prob created tremors underfoot...well, wot an end to the series..one can but hope the test matches will be as good and if they are, man do we have something to look forward to..time to get back to work now i guess..have had a day off so straight back to it now..aah, this life X!
