The last day...
Well..it has finally arrived..all the papers have been sorted, the room has been cleared and the packing is done..Once again, it is time to go back for a few months..And man, have i been looking forward to it..The joys of masala dosas, dahi paneer, sleeping in, live cricket, friends, family, getting laundry done for you..Aaah, the simple pleasures of life..Will be great to finally have a break and be back in A'bad..This is probably the last time I will get in a long while to meet most people as we have all graduated now and will all be drifting away, building our own lives..
Some of my friends will be graduating this year and so, once again, comes that time of the year, when goodbyes are said and many promises are made to stay in touch..Promises that are, in the vast majority, made for the sake of politeness and never honoured..Most of us will never meet again..But some of us will, hopefully, stay in touch..Am glad have done all my preparation for the trip back coz all of tomorrow will be spent meeting people for the final time..And technically, I am a graduate now though it does'nt really feel like that because I am back next year for the Masters.. On a completely different topic, met Asterope online today..Finally met the person behind the voice (or as in this case, the person behind the MANY MANY comments!!)..Am constantly amazed as to how we keep meeting people in such random ways..Always good to meet new people..Finally got her name out of her, and, much to Hemant's annoyance I am sure, I am going to keep my trap shut (for one of the few times in my life :D ) and not reveal it!! Hehehehe..Also, muchos thanx to Asterope for the free advertising on her blog!! The more the merrier..Keep the bloggers coming.. Hey Dawn, sorry abt yesterday..Was shutting down my laptop when u logged on..Was off to bed..Am sure will c u arnd.. A big hello to Ocean, who apparently asked Asterope to say hello to me coz she was too busy!! The generation of today, i ask you..Always busy.. "We have no time to stand and stare" ..Still so true.. Oye Hemant, when you get your phone line in, send me your number..I assume your mobile number has'nt changed..
