The varied shades of life...That lie twixt black and white The many paths we take...Between birth and death
Thursday, January 27, 2005This Day in History
Just a quiet post for Holocaust Memorial Day..The day Auschwitz was liberated by the Russian Army 60 years ago..
Also happens to be my brother's 16th birthday..so Heppi Budday to the lil brat..
And of course, Republic Day, a day late..
As for me, life been busy like never before..Exams finished on Friday after which all my energy was concentrated on getting my application for PhD funding done..Finally handed it in yeasterday so that is one chapter closed..Don't find out whether have been successful till early May so its a long wait..o well..Plus, the master's project is now in full swing..the past four days, i have been in my department from 8.30-5 everyday..No lunch break either..Sigh..Looks like this life is going to last for at least another 3 months..On the bright side ( I guess), this has lead to my maintaining reasonably human hours again..Have been going to bed at 12-12.30 and waking up at 7.30-8 now instead of my usual going to bed at 3 am..The old bones have begun creaking..Cant hack the student life anymore..Lol..
Saw the doctor today about my shoulder cause the physio is going pretty slowly and he says it is a frozen shoulder..Never seen a case in someone so young before..Apparently the youngest he has seen so far is a guy of about 35..sigh..So is now going to take about a year before i get back full movement instead of the usual 3 months or so..It doesnt seem to affect my daily routine though as I can still use it for most purposes but it means swimming and the gym weights are off for a bit..Pah..Most annoying..
One more day till the weekend..cant wait!! Enjoy ur Fridays people..Good Night :D
