Ye Ol Days
Spent all evening talking to Devar and Rhea..and listening to Pulse (Floyd) , and then Kandisa (Indian Ocean) .. Not a good combination..
Damn, I want to walk in the warm rain again, with a garam garam masala makkai in my hand..I want to smell the wet earth as the first rain gently falls on it..the dust setlling..the leaves glistening in the sunshine..the undhyon during uttarayan..the pretty girls at navratri..kitli chai..garam ghee jalebi..vada pav..mangoes..late night movies..ice cream..wandering in iim lawns at 3 in the morning with friends..on the empty roads at nights as we drove to kalupur and back..chai on the platforms, busy even at 3 am..the breeze in our faces .. the company.. Ye Ol Days...long gone and yet still here..for today's life shall be the memories of tomorrow..Another 3 months and I will be longing to be back at university..When I get married, I shall probably long for the single life.. After all, we want what we can never have..But more than that I think, we want what we once had and can have no longer..But life is long, long enough for me..And dont they say 50 is the next youth..well, 50 , Here I Come..only another 29 years to go :D X!
